The company, headquartered in Abu Dhabi, flies helicopters and fixed-wing airplanes in the UAE and internationally. Abu Dhabi Aviation, founded in 1976, operates more than 60 helicopters and fixed-wing aircraft. The company services the Middle East, including Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Yemen. It also provides services to Eritrea, Iran, Pakistan and Spain.
Abu Dhabi Aviation is listed on the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange. The Abu Dhabi government owns stock in the company. Abu Dhabi Aviation owns a percentage of Maximus Air Cargo, a specialist heavy-lift company, also based in Abu Dhabi. |
